Dinner with my wife in the open air surrounded by potted plants was perfect. The interior of the restaurant in an ancient building was beautiful but nothing beats sitting outdoors with a cool breeze blowing. Service was warm and friendly with everybody making that extra effort to communicate in English despite their limitations. The recommendations for the food that we had were spot on- their specials, Aubergine parmesan, and the Marseille sausage were very flavorful. We had a glass each of the decent house wine. Finally, rounded off with some cut fruits for dessert since I wanted something lactose-free and gluten-free. Thanks to the team at Paule &Kopa for a lovely evening.

Recommended by our local host Michel, we could not have been more pleased with our meal: fresh, delicious, and accompanied by excellent and attentive service. We would recommend Paule & Kopa to any fellow visitors (California in our case).

I really liked this place. Amongst the range or larger resturants, you have this small family restaurant providing good quality food, great service and a relaxing environment. We were on a trip from London and would definitely go back. I would definitely recommend

I had supions here apparently the best in Marseille. It was good but I am not sure it's the best, hardly any parsley and not much garlic. But it was correct. The glass of white as well. Their tapenade was good. They have their own and excellent olive oil, really fantastic. I found a bit expensive - probably because of the very touristic location - but as I said, it was correct. The service was kind, very nice waiters.
